Following the call

Hello,

I am so grateful to have you here, and for you to be following me on this journey. This will be how you keep in touch, and stay updated on the thing that happen. A little insight about me: I’m a lover of people and Jesus. If you want to know anything about me, know that my heart is to simply love everyone around me as Jesus loves me.

When Sarah gave me this prompt and asked me to write my first post I immediately started to ponder on things I would say or talk about. The truth is that it’s as simple as sharing my heart. Most who are close to me know that I’ve waited for an opportunity like this for what has felt like forever to me- BUT, it was all in God’s timing and I couldn’t be more thankful for this season. There’s so much I could go on and say, but the truth of the matter is that when we stay obedient and give him our “Yes” he takes it and runs with it. Literally. Who would’ve ever thought I’d be going on a 60 day trip across the world? Not me. But here I am, 4 weeks out from getting on a plane to be the hands + feet for the kingdom and to share his love. So blessed and humbled.

To the people who have endlessly prayed for me, donated, and given time for my fundraisers- it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Each one of you hold a special place in my heart and your support means the entire world to me. Thank you for sewing into what the Lord is doing. I love each and every one of you!

Here are some things you can be in prayer for while I’m gone-

Spiritual wisdom/love- That I’ll be abundantly wise and discerning yet filled with love serving those who I’ve been set forth to serve.

That the unbelievers will have opened eyes to see Christ in all His glory- Pray that the Holy spirit will go ahead of my team and prepare the hearts and minds of the unbelievers and that the love we share and show will help them respond to Christ.

Most importantly that we will have BOLDNESS & CLARITY in everything we say

Loneliness- that being homesick will be kept at bay.

Selflessness

Protection

Love you all.

In Christ,

Autumn
